Meeting Point

Via Germanico, 8, which is a 3-minute walk from the Vatican Museum, is the meeting point for the guided tour. 

You must arrive 25 minutes before the time mentioned on your ticket at the meeting point.

Important Information About the Ticket

  • This ticket is not suitable for visitors who need mobility assistance. 
  • Follow the Vatican dress code, and avoid wearing very revealing clothes which don’t cover your knees and shoulders. 
  • Do not carry knives and other weapons. 
  • No pets are allowed.
  • The tour will explore other Vatican Museum exhibits instead when St. Peter’s Basilica is closed on Wednesday 8 am to 12 pm and on the 24th and 31st of December. 
  • The Vatican City is crowded all year round, but the peak tourist season is from April to June and September to October.
  • Only the Vatican Museum and Sistine Chapel have skip-the-line access on this ticket, and you will have to stand in line at St. Peter’s Basilica. 
  • The activity provider will call and inform you in advance if the meeting time changes. 
  • There is no refund for the ticket if you arrive late.
  • If you have any disabilities or health issues, you must mention the details when booking the ticket. 

About the Vatican Museum, Sistine Chapel, & St. Peter’s Basilica

  •  Opening Hours

The Vatican Museum is accessible from Mondays to Saturdays, 8 am to 8 pm and on the last Sunday of every month from 9 am to 12 pm.

St. Peter’s Basilica is open from 7 am to 7 pm from April to September and from 7 am to 6.30 pm in the remaining months. 

  • Getting There

The Metro Line A to Cipro Station will get you closest to the meeting point of this Guided Tour. 

You can also get off at Ottaviano-S Pietra Station, the closest stop near St. Peter’s Square.
