Exit the Forum and climb to the top of Palatine Hill to see the historical remains of the glorious Roman Emperor’s houses, a foundation site at the center of seven hills.

Children below 18 years old (must be accompanied by an adult) can access this ticket for free!

Cancellation Policy 

Refunds and rescheduling are not possible for the Colosseum skip the line tickets.

If you cannot visit on the day you booked this experience or miss the time slot, you cannot request a refund or a reschedule. 

Meeting Point

Piazza d’Aracoeli, 16, is the meeting point for the multimedia experience.

Even though this is the meeting point, the actual tour begins at Piazza Venezia after the presentation. 

Important Information about this Colosseum Ticket

  • When booking the ticket, ensure you enter your details as mentioned on your ID proof documents. You must carry these with you on your visit, as security will cross-check this information at the Touristation office.
  • The multimedia experience is 25 minutes long and must be completed before exploring the attractions.
  • The visit to the Roman Forum, Palatine Hill, and Colosseum begins two hours after the multimedia experience. 
  • You must show your ticket on your device at the Touristation office at Piazza Venezia for the Colosseum tickets. It is not near the Colosseum but is easy to spot, with a small fountain in front of it and small orange flags. 
  • If you are traveling with kids, you will be accompanied to the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill entrance.
  • Do not carry glass bottles or containers, alcoholic drinks, spray bottles, suitcases or huge luggage bags to this experience. 
  • Pets are not allowed. 
  • Disabled visitors with a certificate can access a free experience! Your caretaker can also enter for free if you cannot explore alone. 
  • School, private, and guided groups cannot access this ticket.
  • You can also add a 90-minute English walking tour of Navona Square, Trevi Fountain, and the Pantheon while checking in at the Touristation office.

About the Colosseum, Roman Forum, & Palatine Hill

Opening Hours

The Colosseum is open from 8.30 am daily and closes an hour before sunset.

The Roman Forum and Palatine Hill follow a similar schedule, but their timings also change throughout the year.

Getting Here

Since the meeting point of this experience is at Piazza d’Aracoeli, 16, the bus stop Pza Venezia is the best spot to get off at, as it is only a 3-minute walk away. 

You can also get off the bus at the Pza. S Marco stop, 3 minutes away from Piazza d’Aracoeli, 16.
