Ticket Price

The Colosseum Guided tour with skip-the-line , costs €64 for adults between 18 to 99 years of age.

Children between the ages of 6 and 17 can take this tour for a discounted price of €51!

Infants below six years can take the tour for €4!

With this ticket, you can also choose a small group tour option, with added Colosseum arena floor access for adults at the price of €86.

Children between the ages of 6 and 17 can access this option for a discounted rate of €65, and infants below six years can visit for €5!

If you do not want to visit the Colosseum arena, you can also enjoy an excellent 12-person small group tour of other parts of the Colosseum and two attractions for €96!

Kids between 6 and 17 can access this option for €73, and those younger than six can visit for €5!

How to get here: Cross the pedestrian bridge from the Colosseum metro station and locate the office on the other side of the road 50 meters away. 

Important Information about the Colosseum Guided Tour

  • Carry your passport and valid ID proof when visiting.
  • Children with discounted tickets have to show ID proof at the entrance, or they will have to pay the total adult ticket price to enter. 
  • Wear comfortable walking shoes, as you must stroll around for long hours.
  • Avoid bringing alcoholic beverages, glass containers, cigarettes, spray bottles, weapons, knives, and heavy luggage on this tour.
  • This tour does not accommodate wheelchair users and others with mobility restrictions.
  • Pets and children with no accompanying adults are not allowed. 
  • The entry ticket to the Colosseum costs €16, an additional €22 for the arena, and a €2 reservation fee. The extra costs of this ticket cover the fees of the professional guides, reservation fees, headsets, and other services. 
  • It is difficult to walk around Rome in the summer months of July and August so the tour time will be for 2 hours in these months.

The Colosseum opens at 8.30 am on all days of the week and closes an hour before sunset.
